IF4000 These stunning knives, which are made in Taylor's Eye Witness' Sheffield factory, have won 2 prestigious international design awards - including the iF(industrie forum) award, which are the design 'Oscars - previous winners include BMW, Apple and Muji.   Designed Sam Hecht (Industrial Facility, London), the IF4000 ranges marries Taylor's Eye Witness's extensive knowledge of knife production with Sam Hecht's sensitive appreciation of the kitchen landscape. The result is a collection of knives with simple improvements, realigning the most primordial of tools with our current expectations.   The process of production is precision forging, heat treating (RockwellC53 to C56 degrees), precision grinding and hand honing. Finally, a fine glaze is applied. All this adds up to one of the most sophisticated combinations of modern technology with the experience of Sheffield craftsmanship.
